Vietoris to miss Barcelona

Christian Vietoris will miss this weekend's GP2 round at Barcelona because he is still suffering from bad headaches as a result of a heavy crash at the Istanbul season-opener. The German's spot at Racing Engineering has been taken by the experienced Portuguese driver Alvaro Parente. "It makes no sense for me to do it [race this weekend]," Vietoris, who is also competing in the DTM with the Persson Mercedes squad, told AUTOSPORT.
