Stoner: Final laps were ?like torture?
Casey Stoner said counting down the laps to the finish of the very wet British Grand Prix was 'like torture' as he tried to stay upright while leading the race. The Australian claimed his third consecutive victory and his fourth of the year at Silverstone, moving into an 18-point championship lead in the process. He lost his pole advantage at the start, as his Honda team-mate Andrea Dovizioso and Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo took the early initiative.
